The Library Board invites citizens to address the Board on any matter, except items on the agenda and public hearings that are included on the agenda. Comments related to items on the agenda and public hearings will be heard when the specific item/hearing starts. Citizen comments are limited to three (3) minutes, unless otherwise required by law. To address the Board, please fill out a Public Comment Card and submit it to a staff member prior to the Public Comment section on the agenda. The Library Board is not permitted to take any action or discuss any item not listed on the agenda. The Board may choose to place the item on a future agenda.

1. Hear a report from the Friends of the Sunnyvale Public Library.
2. Hear the Director and Financial Reports for April 2026.
F. Discussion and Action Items
1. Discuss, consider, and act upon the minutes from the April 21, 2026 meeting of the Sunnyvale Library Board.
2. Discuss benefits and drawbacks to moving to a fine-free circulation policy.
3. Discuss and consider topics for a possible future joint work session with the Town Council.
4. Review the library's Long Term Plan for 2021-2026 as part of the development of the 2027-2031 Long Term Plan.
5. Discuss, consider, and act upon the scheduling of Library Board meetings for August and September of 2026.

Notice is hereby given that the Library Board will conduct its Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the Doris Padgett Public Library. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting. Email comments may also be submitted to mkolman@sunnyvaletx.gov by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting.

Notice of Possible Quorum of Town Council
A quorum of the Town Council may be in attendance. This is not a regularly scheduled meeting of the Town Council. As a governmental body, the Town Council will not deliberate nor take any formal action on any items discussed.
